Qualifications

• SC1 knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2 planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• SC3 monitoring and assessing student learning with data-informed feedback to students and parents.
• SC4 interpersonal and communication skills and collaboration with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• SC5 behaviours consistent with Department values and engaging in professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching-related and organizational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
