The successful applicant will contribute to school curriculum development, impact teaching strategies, and collaborate with staff, parents and the wider school community to support student learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Plan and implement high‑impact teaching strategies and evaluate learning growth.
• Monitor and assess student learning and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Establish collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and department values.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
