Job summary

dnata catering & retail, part of the Emirates Group, is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Broadbeach team to deliver accurate, timely payroll services across Australia.

In a fast-paced, collaborative environment you will process end-to-end payrolls, conduct audits, manage onboarding data, interpret awards, and support Labour Hire payroll processing across the country while upholding confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years’ payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation including superannuation, parental leave provisions, workers compensation and long service leave.
• Strong experience with Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation.
• High attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
• Strong Excel and systems capability (Rockfast highly regarded).
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive mindset with strong communication skills.
• Integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality.
• A positive, team‑first attitude and strong cultural fit - this is a close-knit team that values collaboration, reliability and supporting one another during busy periods

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payrolls nationally.
• Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations and compliance checks.
• Manage onboarding and employee data across multiple systems.
• Interpret awards and agreements and apply pay changes accurately.
• Process superannuation, leave accruals and payroll adjustments.
• Support Labour Hire payroll processing across Australia.
• Respond to payroll queries professionally and efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and accuracy
