Job summary

dnata catering & retail, Broadbeach, is seeking a Payroll Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will process end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payrolls, manage onboarding and employee data, and ensure accurate application of awards and pay changes across Australia.

The role requires strong Excel skills, knowledge of payroll legislation, and a proactive, team-oriented approach in a busy environment. Corporate parking, EAP, and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation (superannuation, parental leave, workers compensation, long service leave)
• Experience with enterprise agreements and award interpretation
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient Excel and systems capability (Rockfast highly regarded)
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

About the Role

At dnata catering & retail, payroll plays a vital role in supporting our people and operations nationwide. We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our closeknit team in Broadbeach and help deliver accurate, timely payroll services across a large and diverse workforce.

• Ideally 2+ years’ payroll experience
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation including: superannuation, parental leave provisions, workers compensation and long service leave
• Strong experience with Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation
• High attention to detail and pride in accuracy
• Strong Excel and systems capability (experience with Rockfast highly regarded)
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
