Quality People urgently seeks a Project Costing Officer for an 8 months+ contract on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate wage payments, and compliance with industrial instruments across operational teams.

Ideal candidates will have strong timekeeping experience, payroll reconciliations, and ability to support AP/AR and project expense accruals. Government payroll exposure is advantageous. Top dollars paid.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented payroll professional with end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Experience ensuring wages, allowances and entitlements comply with awards and agreements.
• Ability to perform payroll reconciliations, reporting and compliance audits.
• Experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable and project expense accruals.
• Proven experience with payroll systems and timekeeping processes; government experience advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Process daily payroll for employees and contractors.
• Review timekeeping data, conciliation and submissions for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industrial instruments and awards.
• Support broader finance functions including AP/AR and project accruals.
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and compliance audits.
