The Department of the Treasury is seeking an APS5 Payroll and People System Officer to join the Payroll and People Systems Unit within the Corporate Division. The role involves delivering payroll services and maintaining cohesive HR systems for Treasury and AOFM.

The successful candidate will finalise post payroll processing, administer pay and leave entitlements, and provide high-quality payroll advice. Strong HR knowledge and system skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of and experience in human resource management functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Understand and comply with HR policies and legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Finalise fortnightly post payroll processing and reporting in line with requirements.
• Administer pay, leave entitlements and related HR processes.
• Provide accurate payroll and HR advice to employees and managers.
• Maintain confidential payroll records per privacy policies.
• Contribute to operating procedures and training materials.
