Job summary

Sidekicker, recently acquired by SEEK, is seeking a Payroll Operations Associate to support the day-to-day payroll function across Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure workers are paid accurately and on time across multiple Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

Join a high-trust Finance team in a hybrid setup at SEEK's Cremorne HQ with scope to work from home, and contribute to process improvements, reports, and ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in business operations or payroll.
• Technology industry experience advantageous.
• Must be able to work accurately and meet reporting deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to foster long-lasting relationships.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and delegate responsibilities.
• Problem solver, analytical thinker, and decision-maker.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and manipulating customer data to enable timesheets to be uploaded into Sidekicker’s platform and payroll systems.
• Assisting with the completion of weekly payroll for 1,500 to 3,000 workers, across Australia and New Zealand.
• Investigating payroll dispute tickets.
• Processing pay day superannuation.
• Preparing customer payroll reports.
• Maintaining and optimising Sidekicker’s payroll processes, with a focus on leveraging AI.
• Ad hoc analysis and tasks as required by the business.
• Ensure effective communication within the business unit and with the rest of the business.

What you’ll be doing:

The Payroll Operations Associate plays a critical role in supporting the day to day operation of the payroll team. This role is critical to making sure our workers are paid accurately and on time, across multiple Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

• Reviewing and manipulating customer data to enable timesheets to be uploaded into Sidekicker’s platform and payroll systems

• Assisting with the completion of weekly payroll for 1,500 to 3,000 workers, across Australia and New Zealand

About you:
