Job summary

We Love AI Jobs in Adelaide is seeking a Payroll & Finance Specialist to own end-to-end payroll and contribute to broader finance tasks. The role combines payroll ownership with general accounting support in a hybrid, full-time setting.

You will independently manage payroll, maintain records, handle new hires and changes, and resolve payroll queries while ensuring compliance. The position also covers accounts payable/receivable and month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' payroll experience.
• Confident working independently and owning the payroll function.
• Experience in finance, accounting or accounts administration.
• Solid understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience using payroll and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process independently.
• Take ownership of the payroll function and ensure on-time payments.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Process new starters, terminations, leave and salary changes.
• Resolve payroll queries promptly and comply with legislation.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and month-end tasks.
