Job summary

Paywise is a payroll and salary packaging specialist in Australia seeking a Payroll Operations Consultant. Based in our Sydney office five days a week, you will manage salary packaging, GST contributions and payment requests for members and employer clients, delivering accurate payroll services with a strong focus on compliance and customer care.

You will respond to enquiries, process payments and participate in continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume payroll processing.
• Strong customer service focus and problem solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone coverage and assist employer enquiries with high-quality service.
• Prepare and issue Payroll Deduction Advice and invoices.
• Allocate salary packaging and GST contributions accurately.
• Process daily payment batches and EFT/BPAY transactions.
• Process superannuation contributions and refund requests.
• General banking and payment administration duties.
• Respond to emails via ticketing system and other channels.
