Job summary

BDO is seeking a Payroll Officer in Sydney to provide outsourced payroll and related services to our clients, supporting several services including salary packaging, mobility, migration, HR consulting and centralised coordination.

You will manage a customised client portfolio, work with the Payroll Manager to maintain a centre of excellence, and ensure accurate payroll calculations with timely delivery while identifying opportunities to expand our service offerings.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' extensive payroll experience.
• Experience with software programs required.
• Solid payroll system experience, preferably with SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Managing a customised portfolio of clients and overseeing payroll delivery.
• Collaborating with Payroll Manager to deliver outsourced payroll services of a centre of excellence.
• Preparing all payroll calculations with accuracy and timeliness.
• Managing day-to-day client matters and identifying opportunities to expand services.
• Responding to client queries in an appropriate manner.
• Planning and managing payroll transitions or implementations from other providers.
