Job summary

ThompsonCook in Melbourne's northern suburbs is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract with immediate start and WFH flexibility. You will manage an allocated group of weekly payrolls across multiple sites, supported by an experienced team, and work with SAP SuccessFactors.

The role requires processing payroll accurately, applying enterprise agreements and shift conditions, reviewing time and attendance data, and maintaining employee records.

Qualifications

• Experience processing high-volume payroll in a medium to large organisation.
• Experience with enterprise agreements and varied pay conditions.
• SAP and SAP SuccessFactors experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process allocated weekly payrolls accurately and on time.
• Apply enterprise agreements, rosters and shift conditions.
• Review time and attendance data and maintain records.
• Set up new employees and handle payroll adjustments.
• Generate payroll reports and meet submission deadlines.
• Support the payroll team with day-to-day tasks.
