Job summary

ThompsonCook is seeking a Payroll Project Officer to join the Melbourne CBD payroll project team. This hands-on, high-volume role requires accuracy, timeliness, and strong stakeholder collaboration as the business undergoes transformation.

Reporting to the Payroll Project Lead, you will process payroll changes, validate SAP/SuccessFactors data, and help deliver reconciliations and reporting to support the program. 3+ years' payroll experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end payroll experience within a large or complex organisation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with high-volume, deadline-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of payroll changes accurately and within tight timeframes.
• Prepare final pay calculations, including leave entitlements and other adjustments.
• Reviewing and validating payroll data in SAP and SuccessFactors.
• Resolve queries and exceptions with payroll, HR and project stakeholders.
• Prepare reconciliations and reporting to support the project.
• Ensure compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements and legislation.
