Job summary

Vertaview Group is seeking a Payroll Officer to deliver accurate and timely payroll for a large, diverse workforce. You’ll handle onboarding through termination, maintain records, and drive process improvements in a supportive, fast-paced team.

Brisbane CBD-based, full-time with work-from-home options after probation. The role offers generous salary packaging, including up to 15,900 tax-free and $2,500 for meals; and novated leasing through NFP packaging.

Qualifications

• Proven payroll experience with confidence managing high-volume workloads and complex payroll processes.
• Strong knowledge of payroll administration, awards and compliance, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Tech-savvy with payroll systems and strong Excel skills, always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll
• Manage employee payroll changes from onboarding through to termination
• Maintain payroll systems, records and documentation with precision
• Provide responsive, high-quality service to employees and stakeholders
• Drive payroll compliance, process improvements and operational efficiency
• Identify and challenge existing payroll processes to drive greater efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement.
