Job summary

Presbyterian Ladies’ College - Melbourne is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processes for fortnightly and monthly payruns. Based in Melbourne’s leafy east, you’ll join a collaborative Business Office team and work with experienced colleagues to support professional growth.

The ideal candidate will hold a payroll/finance qualification with at least five years of senior payroll experience in education, and possess strong knowledge of Synergetic Payroll and Australian

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior payroll specialist in an education environment or similar.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Australian payroll legislation.
• Experience interpreting EBAs and Modern Awards with accurate payroll calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end payroll support for fortnightly and monthly payruns.
• Collaborate with the Payroll Administrator and Business Office team.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with relevant payroll legislation.
