Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our People & Safety team. You will manage payroll processing for Veolia Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with VANZ policies.

The role is permanent full-time, based at our Pyrmont head office with flexible hybrid options including 2 days work from home. You will handle complex payroll processes and stay updated on regulatory changes while contributing to a sustainable future.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll systems including SAP SuccessFactors and ECP; Kronos knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee Masterfile by updating hires, terminations, transfers and pay changes.
• Coordinate and process monthly and weekly payrolls.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedures.
• Provide support to the payroll team and resolve data issues promptly.

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our People & Safety team. As a Payroll professional at Veolia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for Veolia Australia and New Zealand in accordance with VANZ policies and procedures.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our national head office in Pyrmont 2009.

What you'll be responsible for

• Maintain employee Masterfile by updating employee information for new hires, termination, transfer, and changes in employee pay details
• Coordinate and process monthly and weekly payrolls.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedures.
• Provide support to the payroll team and ensure data accuracy
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and process termination payments accurately

What you'll need to be successful

• Payroll systems experience (SAP Success Factors, ECP preferred; knowledge of Kronos).
• 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Familiarity with payroll-related legislation and requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines
• High-level problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve payroll and system issues
