Job summary

Goodman Fielder in Australia is seeking a Payroll Officer on a 12-month fixed term to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time across Australia.

You will manage end-to-end payroll, process changes and terminations, resolve queries, and perform audits while ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation. Experience with SAP or UKG Kronos is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' end-to-end payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience in large or complex payroll environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SAP and/or UKG (Kronos) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll changes, adjustments and termination payments.

• Partner with HR, Finance, IT and Payroll SMEs to deliver payroll services.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate payroll processes.
• Support system enhancements and act as an escalation point for payroll issues.
