Spinifex Recruiting is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our growing team in Byron Bay. Working from our Byron Bay office, you will play a key role in supporting payroll services for a large temporary workforce engaged across multiple NSW Councils, mining sites, factory workers and State Government too! This position offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team environment that genuinely values its people.
As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing exceptional service to both employees and clients. You will work across a range of systems and processes, contributing to the smooth operation of payroll functions and supporting the ongoing growth of the business.
While payroll experience is highly regarded, we are also interested in speaking with candidates who have strong administration, HR, finance or customer service backgrounds and can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, process adherence and a willingness to learn.
