Y-Axis is seeking an experienced payroll professional to lead end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand, reporting to the HR Director. The role focuses on accurate, timely processing via ADP and offers exposure to systems, process improvements and broader people operations responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ADP experience essential.
• End-to-end payroll capability across Australia and New Zealand.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership potential.
• Exposure to HRIS platforms and payroll systems improvements.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing across Australia and New Zealand using ADP
• Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and on time, including fortnightly, monthly and ad hoc payroll cycles
• Handle payroll reconciliations, reporting requirements and payroll-related queries
• Act as the key point of contact for payroll matters across the business
• Ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation, awards and company policies
• Build strong relationships with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders
• Support payroll audits, month-end activities and reporting requirements
• Assist with payroll systems administration and contribute to upcoming systems and integration projects
• Work closely with an experienced HR Director to develop broader stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and efficiencies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as the organisation continues to grow and evolve
