Job summary

White & Case LLP in Australia is seeking a Specialist, Payroll to support our Core Finance team. You will process payroll for Australia and Hong Kong via ADP, review timesheets, pro-rate pay, deductions and payroll adjustments.

The role requires 3–5 years in payroll processing, strong MS Excel skills, and experience with ADP reporting and GL. You will collaborate with employees, managers and partners to resolve payroll inquiries and ensure compliance with tax and superannuation obligations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll processing and reconciliations experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with ADP payroll system and related reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely Australia and Hong Kong payroll through ADP.
• Review timesheets, calculate pro-rated pay, leave payments, deductions and payroll adjustments.
• Maintain payroll, banking and tax records and resolve payroll-report discrepancies.
• Liaise with ADP and respond to payroll inquiries from employees, managers and partners.
• Prepare payroll journals, vouchers and general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, FBT, GST and related obligations.
