Spinifex Recruiting, Byron Bay-based, is seeking an organised Administration & Payroll Officer to join our team. This role supports our operations and large temporary workforce while delivering quality service to employees and clients.

Working from our Byron Bay office, you will manage records, timesheets and data across multiple systems, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with consultants and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across multiple business functions.
• Maintain accurate employee and client records.
• Manage documentation, compliance and data entry tasks.
• Respond to enquiries from employees, candidates and clients.
• Assist with timesheet processing and workforce administration.

• Support general office operations.
