Job summary

Westpac Group in Parramatta is seeking a Team Member for Payment Services Operations to support institutional clients with day-to-day enquiries, requests and transactions by phone and email, ensuring accurate, timely resolutions in line with risk and regulatory requirements.

This 18-month max-term role starts with full-time office-based training for three months, followed by a hybrid arrangement with two days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Good organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Understanding of banking or finance, with awareness of privacy, risk and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and collaborating as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist institutional clients with day-to-day enquiries, requests and transactions by phone and email, taking ownership of queries and resolving them to a suitable outcome.
• Collaborate with teams across Westpac including operations, risk, fraud, phone and branch teams to resolve customer enquiries.
• Build knowledge of banking processes and systems and support colleagues in a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain accuracy and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a high-volume operational setting.
