Job summary

EML is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to drive delivery in its global Payment Operations team in Sydney. You will manage card scheme and tokenisation projects, regulatory compliance initiatives, and cross-functional initiatives across Australia and globally.

You will bring hands-on project delivery experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of project management in payments or financial services.
• Experience delivering card issuing or scheme rollout projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Australian payments landscape (AP+, AusPaynet, AUSTRAC) is beneficial.
• Ability to present to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex payment and card projects from initiation to deployment.
• Own end-to-end project delivery and BAU handover for multiple initiatives.
• Lead card scheme mandate changes (Visa/Mastercard) and BIN/program implementations.
• Drive compliance initiatives and data integrity programs to meet regulatory requirements.
• Report on project metrics, testing results, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate process improvements within the Payment Operations team.
