Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience within the Payments industry.
• Experience delivering projects in payments, card issuing or financial services.
• Familiarity with Australian payments landscape – AP+, AusPaynet, AUSTRAC, ePayment Code, RBA frameworks.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; able to present to Senior Leadership.
• Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change in cross-functional environments.
• Decisiveness in resolving business problems, prioritising.
• Budget proposal drafting and budget changes where necessary.
• Experience delivering projects on time and on budget; leading teams and resources.
• Ability to influence executives, sponsors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex payments and card projects across one or more lines of business.
• Own full project lifecycle delivery from initiation through deployment and BAU handover.
• Lead card scheme mandate changes (Visa/Mastercard) and BIN/program implementations.
• Drive compliance-related initiatives to meet regulatory obligations on time.
• Report on project success metrics, testing results, and deployment activities.
• Provide delivery focus within Payment Operations; coordinate process improvements.
• Communicate clearly to stakeholders and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare trackers and detailed project plans for all phases.
• Procure and manage resources to meet objectives within timeframes.
• Manage day-to-day activities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, compliance, and business needs.
