Job summary

Australian Payments Plus is seeking a Business Analyst on a 12-month maximum term contract. You will turn business needs into practical, fit-for-purpose solutions across Australia’s payments ecosystem, assessing stakeholder needs and analysing impact on systems, data and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3–5 years as a Business Analyst.
• Experience across the delivery lifecycle: elicitation, analysis, documentation, prioritisation and traceability.
• Knowledge of payments technology and financial services sector.
• Experience with external enterprise customers and vendors; building strong relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience modelling business processes and data to support decisions.
• Experience supporting solution validation, UAT and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements across the full delivery and operational lifecycle, including scope and prioritisation.
• Model business processes and map opportunities for improvements.
• Conduct data modelling and mapping to support analysis and design.
• Identify risks, issues and benefits of proposed solutions and their impacts.
• Validate systems against requirements, goals and metrics.
• Engage stakeholders to influence decisions and manage communications plans.
• Simplify complex information for non-technical audiences and support testing.
• Assist with transition, change and documentation across projects.
