Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive adoption and sales of innovative digital payment solutions, including digital checkout, tokenisation, and authentication products.

You will generate new business opportunities, manage merchant relationships, and grow product adoption across the payments ecosystem within a fast-growing, technology-focused team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Development or Sales, ideally in payments/fintech/financial services.
• Experience with merchants, retailers, acquirers or PSPs is a plus.
• Strong understanding of digital payments and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and qualify new merchant opportunities.
• Generate leads and manage opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Build relationships with merchants and payment providers and key stakeholders.
• Drive opportunities from engagement through contract execution.
• Support existing clients to maximise adoption of digital payment solutions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and sales metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver commercial and technical solutions.
