VIDA Roads in Melbourne is seeking a VPS 6 Specialist, Pavement Engineer to provide expert pavement engineering advice and technical assurance across the development and delivery of Big Build Roads projects. The role demands advanced understanding of Australian and Victorian standards and a history of pavement design and analysis.

The position is a 3-year maximum-term with hybrid working and time at site offices.

Qualifications

• Experienced Civil Engineer with pavement design and analysis background.
• Advanced understanding of Australian/Victorian pavement standards and specifications.
• Ability to provide technical assurance across planning to handover stages.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative pavement engineering advice and technical assurance across all project phases.
• Lead assessment of pavement-related risks and opportunities with practical recommendations.
• Review designs, submissions, and specs to ensure alignment with standards and objectives.
• Contribute to pavement standards, guidance, and governance across projects.
• Engage with DTP, industry partners, consultants and stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
