Job summary

Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust in Stanmore is seeking a RTT Patient Pathway Validator to ensure accurate patient pathways from referral to treatment. You will manage the PTL, validate RTT status codes, and support clinical teams by maintaining precise administrative records and PAS entries.

Responsibilities

• Understand all aspects of a patient’s pathway from referral to treatment, including reading case notes, receipt and entry of referrals, booking and cancelling outpatient appointments, and post-session recording of attendances.
• Add/remove patients on the PTL and ensure patients are booked in accordance with the Trust Elective Access Policy.
• Ensure PTL records are accurate by cross checking with patient letters and case notes across sources.
• Maintain RTT status codes at all points of the patient pathway and correct PAS entries when needed.
• Active management of administrative processes related to patient pathways and review of the effectiveness of clinical teams.
