Job summary

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP) is seeking Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our collection centres in the Coffs Harbour area. Shifts run Monday–Friday 7am–5pm withSaturday mornings 8am–12pm, offering hands-on patient care and a supportive team environment.

Ideal candidates have healthcare or customer service experience, a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection, and the ability to work independently in solo centres. Training is provided, and a First Aid certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or customer service.
• Confidence to work independently, including in solo collection centres.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to learn.
• A current First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain before end of Probation period).

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care & customer service, answering questions and easing concerns
• Collect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) in a safe, professional manner
• Label, handle, and process samples in line with strict protocols
• Maintain a clean and organised collection environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient service
