Job summary

PeopleOne Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support in an outpatient care setting. You will assist with patient care, basic procedures, and managing patient records to ensure smooth operations and a positive patient experience.

This role requires graduation from an approved Medical Assistant Program, BLS/AED, and phlebotomy certification. You will coordinate front-office tasks, handle PHI, and support physicians during visits.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Basic Life Support/AED Certification required.
• Phlebotomy Certification required for all MA performing venipuncture.
• Active credential from a recognized organization (CPT/RPT/NCPT/PBT).
• New hires must obtain credential within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers.
• Assist with patient care and basic medical procedures.
• Manage patient records and front-office tasks.
• Schedule appointments and confirm future visits.
• Scan and enter protected health information and insurance data.
• Greet patients and assist with check-in/out processes.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during visits and procedures.
