Job summary

ForHealth Group in Bunbury is seeking a Casual Medical Assistant to join our team of Nurses and General Practitioners. You will support reception, admin duties, and deliver a high level of patient care in a busy practice.

The role requires Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant (or equivalent), flexibility, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to multi-task. Working With Children Check and immunization evidence are also expected; Australia work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant, Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting or first year of Bachelor of Nursing completed.
• Flexibility with availability
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Capacity to multi-task and prioritize
• Working With Children Check Clearance
• Evidence of routine immunization serology
• Eligibility to work in Australia required

Responsibilities

• Ensure Clinical areas are adequately stocked and take action to replenish stock before depletion.
• Clean and sterilise instruments as required and take measures to ensure instruments are maintained and replaced when no longer in working order.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Document all patient care activities
• Provide a high level of customer service as the first point of contact for patients
• Provide admin support
