Job summary

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology's St George laboratory is seeking a Health Professional (Scientist) to join the Haematology team on a permanent full-time basis. The role covers blood film morphology, transfusion and biochemistry, supporting high-quality patient care.

You will work as part of a dedicated team with rostered hours to cover a 24-hour operation, contributing to accurate diagnostics and efficient service delivery in a busy laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Science or recognised equivalent.
• Haematology or blood bank experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood film morphology.
• Contribute to transfusion and biochemistry analyses.
• And work as part of a team within a 24-hour laboratory operation.
