Job summary

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is seeking an Operational Services Officer at SA Pathology in Adelaide. You will sort and accession specimens, enter data accurately and assist with storage and transport, ensuring high-quality and timely laboratory services.

Join a collaborative team across SA Pathology, responding to inquiries from internal and external customers with professionalism. This role reports to the WCH North Adelaide site within the SA Health system.

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience in a pathology setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work with limited supervision under deadlines.
• Familiarity with Millennium data entry system and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Sort and accession specimens according to established protocols.
• Enter data accurately and assist with preparation, storage and transport of specimens.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with SA Pathology staff and external clients to deliver timely services.
