Job summary

4Cyte Pathology Pty is seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to service the Quirindi, NSW region. Casual positions are available.

Primary duties include collecting blood and other specimens from patients, with opportunities to perform diagnostic and specialised collection tests. Applicants should have experience in ECGs and Holter monitors, own a car and current driver licence, and be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in collecting blood and other samples from patients.
• Experience with ECGs and Holter monitors is desirable.
• Own car and current driver licence required.
• Current Working with Children Check clearance expected upon commencement.
• Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 per policy.

Responsibilities

• Take blood and other specimens from patients.
• Perform diagnostic and specialised collection tests.
• Work independently and participate in weekend roster at collection centres.
• Complete clerical duties and process paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with the team, doctors and patients.
• Adhere to Work Health and Safety requirements.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors to service the Quirindi, NSW region.

Casual positions available.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing diagnostic and specialised collection tests.

Skills and experience

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients
• Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors
• Processing of Pathology Specimens
• Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres
• Clerical duties and Process paperwork
• Own car and current driver licence is required
• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
• Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritise and work under pressure
• Basic computer skills
