4Cyte Pathology Pty is seeking an experienced Pathology Collector in the Geelong area. You will take blood and other specimens, perform ECGs, and assist with Holter monitoring. This role requires at least 1 year of pathology experience and the ability to work in a team.

Applicants must have a current Working with Children check clearance and be eligible to work in Australia. A valid driver's license and own car are preferred, and you may be rostered on weekends at collection centres.

About the role

We are currently seeking for experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Geelong Area.

Candidate must have at least 1 year experience in Pathology.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter and BP monitoring.

Skills and experience

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method

• Processing of Pathology Specimens
• Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres
• Clerical duties and Process paperwork
• Own car and current drivers license is preferred
• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
• Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Basic computer skills
• Comply with Work Health and Safety
