4Cyte Pathology Pty in Maclean, NSW is seeking experienced Pathology Collectors for casual positions. Your role involves taking blood and other specimens from patients and performing diagnostic and specialised collection tests.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors for Maclean, NSW and surrounding areas.

Casual positions available.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing diagnostic and specialised collection tests.

Skills and experience

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients

• Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors

• Processing of Pathology Specimens

• Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres

• Clerical duties and Process paperwork

• Own car and current driver licence is required

• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients

• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery

• Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure

• Basic computer skills

• Comply with Work Health and Safety

• Fully Vaccinated for COVID 19
