• Experience with pathology pre-analytical processes (sorting, coding, data entry, aliquoting, parcel handling) in a large laboratory unit
• Understanding of laboratory quality systems and ISO/NATA accreditation requirements
• Awareness of contemporary human resources policies in the workplace

The essential requirements for this role are;This is a modern laboratory with a positive culture and a high performing team, so qualities of resilience, well-developed communication skills and ability to contribute positively to a team environment are essential.Experience in or the ability to rapidly learn pathology pre-analytical processes, e.g. sorting, coding, data entry, aliquoting, parcel management, storage, retrieval of specimens etc, in a large and complex laboratory unit.Proven ability to solve problems and show initiative in the workplace.Proven ability to manage time effectively in a highly process driven environment with competing priorities.Strong attention to detail, ability to focus in a busy, complex environment.Highly developed customer focus with experience dealing with a variety of people and a high level of awareness of impact of the individual on the overall customer experience.Understanding of laboratory quality systems and the requirements of NATA accreditation and ISO certification.Awareness of the human resource management policies applicable to contemporary workplaces.Why work with us?Work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment that values people and prioritises employee success and wellbeing.
