Job summary

SkyFeast, located within the iconic Sydney Tower, Sydney, seeks an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team for a fast-paced environment, creating high-quality desserts, pastries and buffet offerings.

You will maintain quality, assist in production planning and stock management, and work across outlets including events. The role supports the Head Pastry Chef and mentors junior staff while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience.
• HACCP and sound Food Safety knowledge.
• Willing to work across multi outlets including service and events.
• Qualifications or equivalent trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes and baked goods.
• Ensure product quality, presentation and portion control.
• Assist in daily production planning and stock management.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment per safety regulations.
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimize wastage.
• Support Head Pastry Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations.
• Train and mentor junior pastry team members.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures.
