Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney is recruiting for a professional Chef de Partie - Pastry Kitchen to join our Pastry team. The role focuses on maintaining bakery and pastry standards across outlets and banquets, with daily mise en place and high quality product supply.

The ideal candidate has a Pastry Chef Apprenticeship or equivalent, strong leadership, and experience training others, plus a proven ability to organise staffing and ingredients in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pastry Chef Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience delivering skills training.
• Knowledge of a variety of cooking methods.
• Organise staffing, commodities and mise-en-place.

Responsibilities

• Monitors bakery and pastry standards in all outlets and banquets.
• Prepares and supervises daily mise en place and ensures供应 fresh, high quality products.
• Tastes bakery and pastry products to uphold food and beverage quality.
• Establishes and enforces sanitation standards for the kitchen.
• Reports to the Pastry Chef and collaborates with outlet chefs across restaurant, specialty restaurant and banquets.
• Ensures consistent supply of quality products and correct quantities to all outlets.
