QT Hotels & Resorts on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced pastry chef to produce plated desserts for two restaurants and special events, including high tea concepts. You will ensure top quality desserts by following established recipes and maintaining strict portion control across all outlets.

The role requires strong knowledge of patisserie, the ability to coordinate production for multiple venues, and meticulous attention to detail to uphold our premium brand standards.

• High attention to detail and quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Produce plated desserts for two restaurants and conferences, and help produce the Zumbo High Tea.
• Deliver a high quality food product at all times, following standard recipes across all outlets.
• Demonstrate strong recipe knowledge for every item on the hotel’s menus.
• Monitor food quality, quantity and portion control, and requisition product in line with hotel policies and procedures.
• Monitor food storage and maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with hotel and WH&S standards.
• Care for kitchen equipment, work harmoniously with the service team and support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with additional duties as directed.
