QT Gold Coast is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to produce plated desserts for two restaurants and conferences, including the Zumbo High Tea. You will deliver high-quality pastry products, follow standard recipes, and maintain strict portion control and kitchen cleanliness in line with hotel WHS standards.

• Good understanding of patisserie and plated dessert work.
• Ability to grasp production needs across multiple outlets.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.

Responsabilités

• Produce plated desserts for two restaurants and conferences, and help produce the Zumbo High Tea.
• Deliver a high quality food product at all times, following standard recipes across all outlets.
• Demonstrate strong recipe knowledge for every item on the hotel’s menus.
• Monitor food quality, quantity and portion control, and requisition product in line with hotel policies and procedures.
• Monitor food storage and maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with hotel and WHS standards.
• Care for kitchen equipment, work harmoniously with the service team and support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with additional duties as directed.
