Wishbone, the new concept from The Lucas Collective in Melbourne’s CBD, seeks Pastry Chefs to join the opening pastry team. Work under a skilled brigade delivering premium desserts and baked goods, with a focus on flavor, texture and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Commercial Cookery or Patisserie qualification, with strong pastry fundamentals and the ability to thrive in a busy service. Weekend shifts and cross-venue opportunities may apply.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking passionate Pastry Chefs (Chef de Partie & Commis) to join our opening pastry team. Working within a highly skilled pastry brigade, you will help deliver high-quality desserts, pastries and baked goods while maintaining the standards expected of two of Melbourne’s leading venues. This is a fantastic opportunity to refine your skills in a fast-paced, premium kitchen environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a premium kitchen
• Strong pastry fundamentals and attention to detail
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced service environment
• Strong organisation and teamwork skills
• Solid understanding of food safety standardsAvailability to work weekends, public holidays and a variety of shifts
