With a strong history in traditional baking and a passion for quality, Noisette produces a wide range of breads and pastries for customers across Melbourne. Our purpose-built Dandenong South production facility is home to the bakery's bread and pastry production, packing and distribution operations.
We are now looking for a Pastry Assistant to join our experienced production team.
This is a hands-on production role supporting our pastry team, with a particular focus on the croissant production line.
You’ll be working alongside an experienced team to help keep production running smoothly, including handling dough, loading the production line and moving production trolleys.
This is a physically active role and involves regular lifting, pushing and moving of heavy trolleys and dough. You will need to be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
You do not need to be a qualified pastry chef or have previous pastry experience. Previous experience in food manufacturing, food production, bakery manufacturing or a similar environment will be highly regarded.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable and comfortable working in an early-morning production environment.

This is an early morning Monday to Friday position.
Applicants must be genuinely comfortable working these hours. The early start is an essential requirement of the position.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview and practical trial.
Interviews and trials are conducted Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 8:00am and will be held with one of our Production Supervisors.
