Qualifications

• Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to engage warmly and confidently across generations.
• Strong written communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and digital channels.
• Strategic and proactive approach to community engagement, philanthropy and relationship development.
• Strong research, analytical and administrative skills, including confidence using databases and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive personal, financial and philanthropic information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with past pupils and encourage lifelong connection with the School.
• Implement strategies that increase past pupil participation in philanthropy, volunteering, advocacy and mentoring.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of past pupil prospects and donors, including identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Work with the Past Pupils’ Association to deliver engaging events, reunions, and networking opportunities.
• Create targeted communications and storytelling that celebrate past pupils and demonstrate impact of involvement and generosity.
• Undertake prospect research and prepare profiles, briefing information and relationship plans for fundraising activity.
• Maintain accurate past pupil, prospect, donor and engagement information in the School’s database with attention to privacy.
