Job summary

Chevalier College is seeking a Development Officer to support Community Engagement, Alumni and Fundraising. The role focuses on engaging the local community, families, and past students, organising events, and supporting donor relationships and campaigns.

Reporting to the Head of Community Engagement, the officer will implement engagement strategies, coordinate volunteers, manage communications with donors, and assist with reunions and tours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the local community to represent the college and/or gain support.
• Liaise with parents and caregivers to increase engagement in college activities.
• Implement strategies to encourage family engagement with the college, including events.
• Work with Chevalier Past Students to achieve objectives and provide administrative support.
• Conduct tours of the college for past students.
• Support the fundraising strategy as directed by the Head of Community Engagement.
• Source and assist volunteer fundraising committees as needed.
• Ensure correct processing and receipt of donations and liaise with Finance for reporting.
• Maintain donor development and care communications.
