Job summary

Active Kids Early Learning Centre in Laidley, QLD is seeking a Lead Educator for our 2.5 to 3.5-year-olds. You will bring a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be studying towards it) and act as a Responsible Person, leading a passionate team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required or actively pursuing it.
• Certificate III educators encouraged if pursuing Diploma.
• Must be a Responsible Person competent.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standards; child safety prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 2.5–3.5 year age group with dedicated care and education.
• Mentor and support team members to maintain high-quality practice.

What We’re Looking For:

We are on the lookout for a Lead Educator's who:

• Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Certificate III educators also encouraged to apply if they are studying towards their Diploma
• Responsible Person competent
• Passionate Educators
• Brings leadership, initiative, and a genuine passion for early years education
• Has a strong knowledge of industry regulations, the EYLF, and National Quality Standards
• Prioritises child safety, wellbeing, and inclusive practices in everything they do
• Is an inspiring team player and mentor, committed to continuous professional growth
• Availability to work a range of shifts from 600am to 600pm, 5 days per week.
