SeaLink South Australia offers a handson hospitality traineeship, combining real workplace experience with formal training to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Hospitality (SIT30622) over two years.

You’ll develop skills in customer service, food and beverage service, and daily operations while working in a fastpaced ferry environment. Roster is 7 days on/7 days off; the program includes mentoring and career pathways into Café Attendant or Leadership roles.

Qualifikationen

• Willingness to undertake formal on‑the‑job training towards a Certificate III in Hospitality.
• Reside near Cape Jervis or on Kangaroo Island with reliable transport.
• Able to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Aufgaben

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in the Ferry Café.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages in line with food safety standards.
• Assist with daily café operations including cleaning, restocking, and cash handling.
• Support passenger experience onboard by delivering efficient and welcoming service.
• Work as part of a close‑knit team to ensure smooth operations during peak travel times.
