Job summary

Peninsula Kubota is expanding its Warragul team and invites applications for a Parts Interpreter who will welcome customers across agricultural, construction and lifestyle machinery. You will identify parts, supply items, process orders and invoices, and help keep stock accurate in a busy, brand-new dealership.

You'll work with Kubota machinery, gain extensive product training, and enjoy a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts interpreting, ideally in agricultural machinery or related industries.
• Good mechanical knowledge of machinery components.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Positive, reliable and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to take ownership and contribute to dealership growth.
• Kubota machinery experience is highly regarded but not essential.

As our Parts Interpreter, you will play a key role in establishing and growing our Warragul parts department. You will support customers across the agricultural, construction and lifestyle equipment industries, representing the renowned Kubota brand.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying, sourcing and supplying spare parts for tractors, mowers, skid steers and other machinery
• Assisting retail, trade and workshop customers with parts enquiries
• Processing parts orders, quotations and customer invoices
• Managing stock levels, inventory control and replenishment
• Receiving, checking and organising incoming stock
• Supporting our service technicians with accurate and timely parts supply
• Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Helping develop and grow the parts business within the Warragul region
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient parts department

About you

• Previous experience in parts interpreting, ideally within agricultural machinery, automotive, truck, earthmoving or similar industries
• Good mechanical knowledge and an understanding of machinery components
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good computer skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently
• A positive, reliable and team-oriented attitude
• A willingness to take ownership and contribute to the success of a new dealership
• Experience with Kubota machinery would be highly regarded, but is not essential
