Job summary

Mackay City Auto Group in Mackay, QLD is seeking a Parts Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will assist customers over the phone, via email and at the parts counter, identify and supply vehicle parts and accessories, and process orders accurately.

You'll support workshop technicians, maintain inventory, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while delivering a professional customer experience that puts a SMILE in every drive.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in retail, trade sales, or other customer-facing roles is desirable.
• Must hold a current driver’s licence.
• Good computer and administration skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities and stay organised.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Parts Customer Service Representative, you'll be an important part of our Parts Department, supporting customers, trade clients, and our workshop team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers over the phone, via email, and at the parts counter

What We're Looking For

We're more interested in finding the right person to join our team, Automotive experience is not necessary however would be highly regarded.

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Enjoy helping people and delivering exceptional customer service
• Have experience in retail, customer service, trade sales, hospitality, administration, or another customer-focused role
• Have an interest in vehicles, automotive products, mechanical equipment, or technical products
• Are organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Have strong computer and administration skills
• Communicate confidently and professionally
• Take pride in your work and follow through on commitments
• Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
• Hold a current driver's licence
• Experience working with automotive products, parts, accessories, tools, industrial equipment, trade supplies, or other technical products will be highly regarded.
