Job summary

CoolDrive Auto Parts in Caboolture, QLD is seeking a motivated Parts Interpreter to join our team on a full-time basis. You will engage with customers at the trade counter, identify vehicle specifications, prepare invoices and handle returns and warranties, while maintaining showroom standards.

The ideal candidate brings face-to-face sales experience, strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of automotive parts.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face sales and customer service experience.
• General automotive knowledge preferred.
• Extensive administrative experience in service or customer-relations roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret customer needs and provide expert solutions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via email and phone in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist customers at the trade sales counter as required.
• Accurately identify make, model and specifications of motor vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices with attention to detail.
• Process credit returns and warranty claims per company policy.
• Coordinate stock transfers and special order buy-ins efficiently.
• Support regular stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organised showroom environment.

We are looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter to join our dynamic team at Caboolture, QLD on a Full Time basis.

Your Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting customers at the trade sales counter as required.
• Accurately identifying the make, model, and specifications of motor vehicles and automotive equipment.
• Preparing and issuing customer invoices with attention to detail.
• Processing credit returns and warranty claims in line with company policy.
• Coordinating stock transfers and special order buy-ins efficiently.
• Supporting regular cyclic and annual stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing showroom environment.

What you will Bring

• Previous experience in face-to-face sales and customer service with a focus on building strong customer relationships.
• General automotive knowledge (preferred).
• Extensive administrative experience in a service or customer relations role, demonstrating organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and professional approach.
• Proven ability to interpret customer needs and provide expert advice and solutions.
