Job summary

Volvo Group Australia’s Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) team in Sydney West is looking for a Parts Interpreter to provide efficient after-sales service by identifying, sourcing and selling truck and bus parts to customers. You will report to the Parts Manager in a 12/1 team, contributing to a high-quality operation within a collaborative environment.

You will manage retail displays, promote current specials, build a customer base and coordinate parts supply, while handling inquiries, invoicing

Qualifications

• Strong truck parts knowledge, ideally within a retail environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• The ability to participate in a rotating roster to work Saturday shifts and be on call for parts supply.

This role will work for Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV), who are the primary commercial vehicle distribution centre’s for Volvo Trucks and Buses, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks.

What You Will Do

At VCV Sydney West, you will be responsible for providing an efficient after-sales service by identifying, sourcing and selling truck and bus parts to our valued customers.

Your Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Daily upkeep of retail displays

Your future team

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will work in a team of 12 Parts Interpreter’s and 1 Storeperson. The Parts team pride themselves on running a quality and highly efficient operation, in a supportive team environment. The greater VCV Blacktown Workshop team is made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisor’s and Costing Clerk’s.
